My Story
The Positive Energy Company is a call for me to pull together all of my God-given
gifts and talents in a way that serves others.
Many times as I've worked on developing the ideas
for The Positive Energy Company I've had moments when I've needed to let go of everything and allow my higher good
to shine through. I have been guided gracefully during these months of production.
I have always wanted to do something that was helpful to others and
touched lives.How could I inspire people and share positive energy most effectively?I
knew that any idea needed to be spiritually based for me to have the desire to see it through.Innately,
then classically trained as an artist, I have practiced various artistic mediums before realizing how best to incorporate
these talents into communicating positive energy to the world. I devote some of my time to spiritual studies and have discovered
how deeply fulfilling life can be.Needing to share this joyfulness brought the Positive Energy Company
to life.
My business has been in the making
for 10 years.I have always known I wanted to start something on my own becauseI am constantly
thinking of business ideas and products- I keep track of them in an “ideas journal”.However,
none of them have resonated with “now” until this one came to me over a year ago.The t-shirt
business has been calling me for years, evident in the many sketches and business plans scattered throughout the different
journals in my collection.I had been waiting for the right designs that were positive and thought-provoking.It had to make people think and help to grow positive energy within others.Dealing with morning
sickness during my third pregnancy in a hotel room, an idea was born and sketched on the only piece of paper available- the
hotel’s room receipt that was slid under our door in the morning.
Starting up a business while maintaining my primary focus in my life right now…raising my three young
children, has been a great lesson that supports and enhances my quest for finding the beauty in my life.Many
times throughout the day I stop and reflect on the beauty that surrounds me in my home…children that are learning and
playing and learning to interact with each other and the world.Often times we take nature walks in our
neighborhood and around the many lakes in our beautiful town, looking for flowers and the discovering the presence of
natural beauty.These moments are the moments that have inspired these designs.
